Description
Houthakker beer takes its name from its creator, Piet Houthakker, a Flemish woodcutter for generations, who became a brewer when the forests of Houtland ran out. Wherever there was a forest, he set up his hop yards and grew his hops on the wood reserves. He has made his beers in his own image, with heart, generosity, … it’s his roots that express themselves!
Sometimes, after a tasting, it seems that you can see Piet’s axe appear in the bottom of his mug…
